Bake Five bakers are enterprising bakers through and through. Many bakeries are family firms going back generations, relying on their baking traditions and product knowledge as their basis. But Bake Five bakers also look to the future. “How can we surprise the consumer?” and “how can we best serve our customers?” are questions that continue to be relevant today.
In 1997, the latter question was answered by the foundation of Bake Five, the bakeries’ service office for our customers in Leusden. Since then, national account management, marketing, purchasing, logistics, product management, quality assurance, invoicing and automation have been centralised here.
As a total supplier, we feel it is important to talk to purchasers, category managers and supermarket entrepreneurs about the composition of various product groups. In these discussions, the consumer is always central. Everything is viewed and considered in terms of the person who will ultimately enjoy a delicious sandwich or wonderful piece of pâtisserie.
